I always enjoyed the movie posters for Alien vs Predator.

The way they have the two different aliens larger and looming ominously over the rest of the poster, poised to assault each other with everything they've got really shows the movies story. Then how the two humans stuck tiny in the middle in a ball of fog, easily portraying that they are not knowing what they'll be facing. There isn't much negative space, and everything seems to pull together amazingly.

I found the article on Dustin Stanton's ideas and way of working on movie posters very interesting and believe that reading this article has aided me in my design in my own poster, especially on the positioning of the different aspects of the poster.
